CoMIN will have final say on refugee response, says Minister

The Council of Ministers is considering housing Syrian refugees on the Isle of Man. 

That's according to the chairman of government's International Development Committee Phil Gawne.  
 
It follows speculation concerning what the Island can offer in support of 20,000 displaced people migrating to Britain. 
 
The IDC has already committed to sending £100,000 to the British Red Cross, Christian Aid, CAFOD, Oxfam, Save the Children and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
 
Mr Gawne says CoMin will have the final say:
