Petition launched to stop raw sewerage pollution

A petition has been launched to end raw sewerage being pumped directly into Manx waters.

Isle of Man Friends of the Earth says it has concerns over the state of the sea and bathing water through the discharge of untreated waste.

As it stands, bathing water quality is still assessed against criteria from 1976 - the group wants to see it modernised.

Over 600 people have signed the petition, member Cat Turner told us what will happen next:
