Local charity provides for young Manx musicians

Accomplished young Manx musicians are being given the chance to loan equipment from a local charity.

The Malcolm Scott Dickinson Charitable Trust has donated money to Soundcheck to launch a loan scheme for bands and soloists aged 13 and over. 

17-year-old singer/songwriter Azariah Sheeley is the first to receive the help.

She's been given £600 towards the purchase of an electric guitar and recording apparatus and says it'll give her the creative boost that she needs to progress:
