Dog owners told to stop sheep attacks

Thu, 24 Sep 2015

Irresponsible dog owners have left a Grenaby farmer nearly £300 out of pocket.

Yesterday morning he found three of his sheep had been mauled overnight by what police believe was a mid to large size dog.

The sheep suffered deep puncture wounds to their necks and were left in a high state of distress.

Officers say farmers can, and will, take action against animals which they catch worrying their sheep.
