Impressive prize pot for first Cyclefest

Keen cyclists are being encouraged to sign up for next year's Isle of Man Cyclefest to be in with a chance of winning £10,000.

The new cycling festival will take place next May - this week organisers confirmed the courses and events which will span the three day programme.

The first round of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series will start proceedings, followed by three multi-discipline events.

Competitors will compete for the cash as well as a number of jerseys - Rob Holden is part of the organising team, he says it'll be a good way to spot upcoming talent:
