Two dogs abandoned by owners at Port Soderick

Two dogs which were tied up and deserted at Port Soderick have been taken in by the ManxSPCA.

Police discovered the abandoned lurchers on Thursday - they were bound tightly to the signs at the entrance to the glen, cold and unable to huddle together for comfort.

It's expected that 'Rod' and 'Stewart' will be re-homed when they're settled, after the statutory seven-day period - when their owners may claim them.
