Mannin Retail was the only company to bid to run Ramsey Post Office following a second tender process.

It will take over the operation next month - a year after originally being selected to take charge of the sub post office.

In that time plans for a consortium to run things instead fell through.

The post office will move from The Courthouse into the SPAR store early next year.
