Public consultation launched on sea bass fishing

Tue, 13 Oct 2015

Restrictions could be placed on sea bass fishing on the Isle of Man.

New plans would see limits on the size and number of a catch to save the species from being commercially exploited.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says changing the law may help conserve sea bass and help attract visiting anglers.

A public consultation has been launched - anyone wishing to submit their views has until November 23rd.
