Manx backpacker caught up in refugee crisis

A backpacker from the Isle of Man has put her travel plans on hold after being caught up in the current refugee crisis in Serbia.

25-year-old Ayren-Marie Kelly is supposed to be travelling around Eastern Europe but is now volunteering with aid agencies in Belgrade.

The Ballaugh woman is helping in the Presevo region which sees up to 10,000 refugees a day pass through trying to get registration documents.
