Private sector to be tested on crime prevention measures

Businesses on the Isle of Man will be tested to see if they're adequately protecting themselves from criminals.

The Designated Businesses Act 2015 will come into force next week - it aims to protect the Island from money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

Registration opens in November - the businesses will then have their procedures and systems tested and feedback provided.
