Cyclists and pedestrians asked to improve visibility

Be safe, be seen - that's the message to cyclists and pedestrians as the winter months close in.

Police are urging people to ensure they wear reflective clothing when out and about in the dark.

They say drivers can't avoid or stop for something they can't see - the awareness campaign coincides with the clocks going back yesterday.
