A Liverpool man who was being hunted by police on the Island last week has denied breaching his exclusion order.

Ryan Muldoon, who's from the Norris Green area of the city, appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday where he was told he'll stand trial.

Officers launched a manhunt for the 25-year-old last Thursday - he's banned from the Isle of Man after being sentenced for previous offences.

He was found and arrested a day later and is currently on remand at the Isle of Man Prison.

There was no application for bail and Muldoon was remanded until November 24th when he'll appear before the court via video link - his trial is set to begin two days later.
