Concerns raised about police 'haemorrhaging staff'

Three police officers have been forced to resign this year after being assaulted on duty.

New statistics show 29 officers have left the Isle of Man Constabulary in total due to a combination of retirements, ill health and resignations.

It's the highest number since 2010 - this week concerns were raised in the House of Keys about the fact the force seems to be "haemorrhaging" staff.

That's North Douglas MHK John Houghton who shared his thoughts as to why officers were fed up - however it's something Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson has disputed:
