Stoptober quitters told to keep going

People trying to kick the habit are being advised to take the full course of prescribed medication.

There are reports that a number of people have ditched Champix and other stop smoking treatments following the Stoptober smoke-free campaign.

Health psychologist, and tobacco lead, Anita Imberger says anyone on relapse prevention tablets or patches can seek support from the Island's Quit4You services.

The aids are expected to be taken over a 12-week period - Anita says it's advisable to keep going:
