Plea for van driver who passed robbery to come forward

Police are appealing for the driver of a Ford Transit van - who passed the scene of a robbery in Douglas - to come forward.

Around £1,000 was stolen during an attack on Newby's Newsagent on Glen Falcon Road just after 10pm on Tuesday.

A man, described as 5'8" in height and of slim build, raided the shop as the lone female employee was locking up - he was wearing dark clothing and had his hood up.
