Warning over harbouring offenders as robbery probe continues

People are being warned of the repercussions of harbouring an offender - as police continue to hunt those responsible for two robberies.

Last week Strang Stores and Newby's Newsagent were both targeted - in the latter case the male offender made off with £1,000 in cash.

Officers say they're keeping an open mind about whether the two crimes are linked but admit they do appear 'coincidental'.
