Carrier bag charge will now benefit local environment

People who pay for carrier bags at Marks and Spencer in Douglas are now helping the local environment.

All of the money raised from the charge - which is around £20,000 a year - will be donated to community projects on the Island.

One of the first to receive support is litter cleaning charity Beach Buddies.
