Three people who were busted in a drugs sting by police in Douglas have been told they'll be sentenced in January.

53-year-old Rex Chambers, 22-year-old Jon Paul Fayle and 19-year-old Kimberley Shimmin appeared before the Court of General Gaol Delivery at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.

The trio has previously pleaded guilty to a number of drugs charges - on November 11th police stopped and searched the two men after watching them meet on Mona Drive in Douglas.

They'd been inside a bedsit occupied by Shimmin - officers who searched the property found quantities of cocaine and heroin; the latter had a street value of between £5,000 and £6,250.

Social enquiry reports have been requested before the three, who are from Douglas and Onchan, are sentenced on January 27th - they've been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until that date.
