Drug case delayed for forensic testing

Fri, 27 Nov 2015

Forensic testing has to be carried out before the case against a man accused of possessing mushrooms can continue.

25-year-old Paul Mccormick is currently remanded at the Isle of Man Prison - he's been charged with possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply.

Police stopped him in Port Grenaugh in Santon on November 15th where it's alleged they found liberty cap mushrooms and cannabis bush.

At Douglas Courthouse this week he entered 'no plea' to both offences - he's due to be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery on January 19th.
