Plans underway to develop a Fairtrade action plan

Plans are underway to create a Fairtrade action plan.

That's according to director of the One World Centre, Rosemary Clarke.

The Isle of Man has upheld its status as a 'Fairtrade Island' since 2008 - work is currently underway on an application to renew that standing.

Not-for-profit organisations are working with key figures across government and the Municipal Association to encourage growth in the sector.
