Dong Energy given wind farm go ahead

The Isle of Man has today signed an agreement with DONG Energy to develop a wind farm off the Manx north east coast.

This provides DONG with the chance to explore the viability of the Island and its resources.

The energy company now has seven years to examine the sea bed for its potential and talk to companies and residents before signing a lease.
