Duo arrested after police uncover haul of stolen goods

500 stolen items including brand new toys, clothing and household goods have been recovered by police at a property in Douglas.

A man and woman have now been arrested on suspicion of theft following the find - officers think they were stealing from a number of shops across the Island and then selling the goods online.

PC Chris Dentith says the Lego Millennium Falcon set in question, valued at £130, was being sold for £70.

He's warning people if the price of something appears to be too good to be true it probably is - and is asking anyone who may have bought these items to come forward:
