British astronaut Major Tim Peake has taken Manx stamps with him to the International Space Station.

They commemorate the Royal Aeronautical Society's 150th anniversary and will reside with him for six months alongside three other crew members.

Each design demonstrates the society's close links to the Isle of Man.

Major Peake then intends to sign them before they go on display at aviation museums across the globe.
