River dredging should be a priority says MHK

Failing to dredge rivers around the Island caused millions of pounds worth of damage during the recent flooding.

That's the claim from South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey who's angry it hadn't been done. 

In Tynwald last week he was told a review is being carried out to find out what "lessons can be learnt" in light of the poor weather earlier this month.

He says all those affected deserve answers:
