Police arrest two on possession of cannabis with intent to supply

Police have seized a large store of cannabis in Douglas.

A 49-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested for drugs offences following the execution of a search warrant on Hillside Avenue yesterday evening.

The man was charged with being in possession of the class B drug with intent to supply and his reported accomplice bailed pending further inquiries.

He will appear in court this morning.
