Police appeal for witnesses to Douglas assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Douglas.

It happened near the Gaiety Theatre at approximately 1:10am on New Year's Day.

A male was seen running from the scene - he was pursued by two other males in the direction of Broadway.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
