A search and recovery operation has been launched after CCTV identified a young man falling into Ramsey Harbour.

Joshua Alan Caley is believed to have fallen into the water on East Quay just after 1am on January 1st and failed to reach safety.

His parents raised the alarm when he didn't home from a night out.

He was last seen on Parliament Street at around 12:20am in a dark coloured jumper, jeans and a duffle coat.

Police found the footage after extensive searches for Joshua around the north of the Island.

His parents are being kept informed as a 40-strong staff of emergency services continue on with the search.

Officers say if the public see anything of note around coastal areas they need to call Police Headquarters immediately on 631212.
