'Witch hunt' claims following dredging saga

Infrastructure staff shouldn't be subject to a "witch-hunt" for making "two tiny mistakes" in setting up dredging work at Peel Marina last year.

That's according to the Minister who's defended his department after a damning report by the Public Accounts Committee.

It says it made "significant errors" with procurement processes - almost "completely ignored" financial regulations, didn't follow procedures properly or take relevant advice from Treasury.

Phil Gawne says he thought it was more important to "get on and get the job done" but admits things will change in future:
