Vulnerable are protected despite rent hike says Minister

Local authorities and central government need to work cohesively - it's not productive to promote infighting.

That's according to the Infrastructure Minister - it's after an Onchan commissioner criticised the decision to increase social housing rent by 2.6 per cent in April.

It's an issue being disputed by commissioners - they say tenants can't afford a hike of any size.

However Phil Gawne says it's a better offering than it seems:
