Inquest to open after death of artist

The inquest into the death of an artist from Ramsey will open this afternoon.

56-year-old Simon Buttimore died in hospital on Monday following a crash at the Everlasting Bends.

He came off his motorbike on the Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road at around 10.55pm last Friday.

The Coroner of Inquests will officially start proceedings at Douglas Courthouse at 2pm.
