Half a million spent so far on prom redevelopment plans

Reconstruction plans for Douglas Promenade have already cost over half a million pounds.

That's according to the Infrastructure Minister - who says it's approximately 2.7 per cent of the total redevelopment fund.

The current design cost £52,000 - it's yet to be implemented due to 'serious risk in approach' - it's now back with planning and subject to change.
