Assault leaves woman with facial injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman suffered facial injuries in a nightclub assault.

It happened at The Courthouse in Douglas in the early hours of Sunday, January 31st but police have only now made it public.

The 27-year-old was reportedly attacked by another woman, in her early twenties, who was wearing black leggings and knee high boots, a black top and a purple jacket.

Officers say they believe the Athol Street club was busy at the time with a large number of people witnessing what happened.
