Feedback wanted on compulsory care fund

Suggestions on how to fund nursing and residential care on the Isle of Man are being sought from the public.

A Tynwald Select Committee is trying to spark discussion on plans to introduce a compulsory contribution scheme.

It could see people under a certain age building a fund to cover the future costs of long-term nursing care.

MHKs Peter Karran, Chris Robertshaw and Juan Watterson are overseeing the committee - anyone who wants to share their thoughts has until March 4th to do so.
