DHSC recruits eight child mental health staff

Eight healthcare staff have been recruited in efforts to improve mental health care for children.

One in 10 children on the Isle of Man will show signs of mental health problems.

The staff will take up roles within the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service - they'll be responsible for dealing with risk assessments and helping those who are admitted to hospital.

Health and Social Care Minister Howard Quayle says the spend will be worth it:
