Police on the Island are liaising with experts in the UK after a suspected World War Two device was unearthed today.

It was dug up during construction work in Ramsey – it’s believed an Explosives and Ordnance Disposal team will visit the Island to deal with the un-exploded object.

Cordons have been put in place in the town after it was found near to the BMX track and water pumping station.
