Date set for swearing-in of new Lieutenant Governor

The date has been set for the Island's new Lieutenant Governor to be sworn in.

Sir Richard Gozney is to succeed His Excellency Adam Wood - whose term of office comes to an end next month.

It's expected the previous Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda will take up office on the morning of May 27 this year.

He's being appointed by Her Majesty The Lord of Mann Queen Elizabeth II as her representative on the Isle of Man.
