Wed, 09 Mar 2016

£50,000 is being sent in emergency aid to areas hit by drought and conflict across the world.

The Isle of Man International Development Committee is allocating £30,000 for food and safe water for drinking in Ethiopia.

A further £20,000 is set to improve the conditions of Syrian refugees in south Turkey.

The IDC says the funding will be distributed by charities to improve the lives of thousands of vulnerable people.
