Manx reservoirs stocked with 'trophy fish'

Thu, 10 Mar 2016

All six of the Island's reservoirs have been stocked for the start of this year's angling season which starts today.

Due to the significant damage to the Cornaa Fish Hatchery during the December flooding it's expected there will be less Rainbow Trout in the later part of the season.

However the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it has introduced extra trophy fish this year to provide additional challenges to the sport angler.
