Adults with learning disabilities can now move into two new purpose-built homes.

Keys have been handed to the Department of Health and Social Care for the £1.3 million Strang site.

Tynwald approved the spend in February last year and construction works began on the Leece Lodge site in April to accommodate 10 people.

Each bedroom has an en-suite with vital hoisting and specialist bathing facilities - there'll also be more accessible communal living areas, including a garden.

Residents will now be transferred from two units at Radcliffe Villas on Glencrutchery Road in Douglas.
