Importance of nutrition highlighted to older community

Elderly people on the Isle of Man are being urged to take better notice of their food and drink intake - in a bid to avoid a hospital admission.

The Department of Health and Social Care is working with the local Live at Home Scheme to mark Nutrition and Hydration Week.

Information is being dished out on how to achieve and maintain a healthy weight as well as how to use the Malnutrition Self-Screening Tool which identifies undernutrition.
