Conflict over fuel poverty action

Fuel poverty on the Isle of Man is real and there's a call to put policies in place to tackle it.
 
Next week Onchan MHK Peter Karran will ask the Treasury Minister what action government will take to help vulnerable people who are suffering from it. 
 
Figures released by the Cabinet Office show that around 3,500 homes are struggling with the cost of energy. 
 
However Eddie Teare says the term 'fuel poverty' hasn't been defined and government needs to wait for more research - something Mr Karran disagrees with:
