Conduct of Tynwald Members called into question

Public servants need protection from Tynwald Members who incite bullying and harassment.

That's according to the Home Affairs Minister who pushed for a new code of conduct to be approved this week.

The first Standards and Members' Interests Committee report prompted a number of recommendations on behavioural expectations of MHKs and MLCs.

Juan Watterson says 'selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness and honesty' are lacking from some of their interactions with staff:
