Chief Constable's Awards to recognise 'extraordinary' lifesavers

Ordinary people will be recognised today for the "extraordinary" things they've done to keep others safe.
16 members of the public will be honoured at the Chief Constable's Annual Awards Ceremony - alongside staff from the police force and wider emergency services.
Among the awards are certificates of merit and commendation for officers who have shown "first rate" dedication, professionalism and outstanding performance.
