Banquet for politicians tops 10,000 pounds

More than £10,000 was spent on a banquet for Island politicians on Tynwald Day last year.

That's according to the Treasury Minister Eddie Teare who revealed the figure in the House of Keys this week.

Over £1,400 was spent on hiring the Royal Hall at the Villa Marina.
