Bikers caught making 'pointless overtakes in pointless places'

Bikers are being caught making "pointless overtakes in pointless places" for "no apparent reason". 
 
That's the message from undercover police - three covert bikes have been operating around the Island over the course of practice week.
 
'Pointless overtakes' are considered driving without due care and attention or reasonable consideration for other road users.
 
Officers say riders, and drivers, have to be more careful - they say they've also found some machines which have deliberately removed their wing mirrors. 
 
Sergeant Will Moffatt says despite the Island's derestricted areas motorists will still be penalised if their driving falls below the desired standard:
