Revamping old police station will improve police training

The old police station in Port Erin is being turned into a new multi-purpose staff development centre.

The building will be used for training for personnel from across the Department of Home Affairs.

Three police officers will relocate to the southern building which will be mainly used for training new recruits and providing extra training for experienced officers.

Sergeant Paul Kemp says facilities will be much better at the new location:
