Marshals have been praised for their hard work over the Festival of Motorcycling period. 

 

The so-called 'Orange Army' helps to ensure the motorcycle racing runs smoothly. 

 

Before this year's event the TT Marshals Association issued an urgent appeal to find more people to help out - in particular urging local people to give up a few hours of their time. 

 

Racer Daniel Hegarty says without the volunteers the races simply wouldn't be able to go ahead:
