Police issue election vandalism warning

Fri, 16 Sep 2016

Police in the north of the Island are reminding the public that damaging election posters is a crime.

The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team have received reports that signs have been removed and defaced in the run up to next week's vote.

Officers warn that such actions could constitute a criminal offence, as well as potentially causing upset to other members of the public.

The House of Keys General Election takes place next Thursday.
