Car damaged by stones falling from wagon

Police are reminding drivers transporting goods around the Island to make sure their loads are secure after a car was damaged.

Pieces of stone fell off a wagon at around 3.20pm yesterday on the Castletown Road near Fairy Bridge.

The vehicle travelling behind the wagon was damaged by the debris, but didn't manage to get the wagon's registration number.

Anybody who can help identify the driver of the wagon is asked to contact Castletown Police Station on 822222.
