Little change to unemployment figures

There was little change to the Island's unemployment level in September.

593 people were registered unemployed at the end of last month, which is four fewer than in August.

However, the number is 173 fewer than in September last year, and it's the eighth straight month that the number of Manx residents out of work has fallen.

The total represents 1.3% of the Island's economically active population.
